Remote communities have been hit the hardest by the current energy crisis. They already face challenges in accessing essential services such as electricity due to limited infrastructure.
We developed My Light – Community with these communities in mind, providing flexible lighting solutions for education centers, healthcare facilities and recreational areas.

Supporting Critical Care: My Light – Community is used at HOPE Field Hospital serving the Rohingya refugee camps, as well as two other medical facilities in Bangladesh.

A Space to Learn: In an orphanage in Myanmar, one set of My Light – Community transforms a hall that accommodates 60 people into a bright, shared sanctuary. Children can now continue studying even when blackouts occur.
Safer Surroundings: When used as a street lamp at full brightness, the light is enough to provide clear street visibility and illuminate pathways during power shortages.
With My Light – Community, children can learn, gather, and move about more safely after sunset.

Lighting Community Life: In an Orang Asli village in Johor, My Light – Community lights up the community center, basketball court, and surrounding paths.
Spaces that were once dark after sunset are now vibrant hubs that remain accessible into the evening.
Children play longer, families gather, and movement through the village feels safer.
On Banggi Island and Teluk Nipah, My Light – Community acts as a "lighthouse" for the community, and shared spaces are no longer limited by daylight.
Functioning as both a street light and a social anchor, My Light – Community supports safer movement and stronger community life.

Estimated duration with a full battery charge:
• Up to 5 hours at 100% brightness
• Up to 7-8 hours at 80% brightness
• Up to 10 hours at 50% brightness
If the battery has not been fully drained after a night’s usage, it can still provide power for at least one more night.
Each set includes 2 solar panels, 2 lamp heads, 2 remote controllers, wiring, installation accessories, and a manual. Compactly packed, the total weight is under 7kg. Each set costs S$150, inclusive of sea shipping, customs duties, and door-to-door delivery to most Southeast Asian countries (subject to confirmation by our freight forwarder upon order).
