Hope Shines Bright in Oyanasi Ancient Village
Each of the 261 households, built along the mountain using wood and stone, received a solar light. A photo was taken of each recipient and sent to the giver in return. With minimal electric lighting and very small windows to preserve warmth, homes were often dimly lit. The new solar lights now brighten these spaces, offering a striking change. The lights also give children proper lighting for studying, making it easier to enjoy reading and fostering a love for learning.
A single solar light has the potential to brighten the path to new opportunities.
