The Bru-Van Kieu community in Quang Tri province and the border areas with Laos is experiencing challenges due to limited electrical infrastructure. This causes inadequate lighting at night, severely impacting the quality of life, education, and safety of residents, particularly children and the elderly.
180 solar lights are needed. They will greatly benefit the community by improving living conditions, educational opportunities, community safety, and overall quality of life. These sustainable and reliable lights will also reduce energy costs and enhance community development.
Vietnam Evangelical Covenant Church (VECC) serves and supports communities in need, including those living along the border areas with Laos and the villages of the Bru-Van Kieu people in Huong Hoa and Da Krong District, Quang Tri province. They also conduct community outreach programs and provide relief and development initiatives for people in need.
